Welcome to the COCKERMOUTH FILM CLUB; formed to bring you the greatest films ever made on the big screen, where, quite frankly, they belong. We started in January of 2011, and we show our choices at the Kirkgate Centre.
Membership for the season is £10, for which as ever you'll get 4 tickts included in the price. If you prefer to coast it, as you go, tha's all good as well with a £4 a film price tag that is as yet unbeaten value.

The Kirkgate Centre is a vibrant community arts centre. Converted from the former derelict All Saints School 15 years ago, it is now Cockermouth's main arts venue with a 125 seat theatre/cinema and exhibition space.
The ancient town of Cockermouth - one of Britain's 51 "gem towns" recommended for preservation - is situated in the most beautiful corner of England, The Lake District in Cumbria. This historic town has long held an attraction for writers, poets and artists - the most notable being William Wordsworth and Percy Kelly. It continues to be a culturally rich town with attractions like William Wordsworth's birthplace, the newly opened Percy Gallery. With some wonderful restaurants and the Jennings Brewery to name only a few, Cockermouth is a very popular town to visit.
More information is available from the Cockermouth Tourist Information Centre.
